19 - Irregular Past Tense Forms

The past tense verb conjugations of class 5 are all irregular.
Past tense = Past Stem + ఏన్, ఆయ్ etc
These past stems have to be memorized.

Root Stem Past_Tense
వర (2 - come), వన్ద్, నాన్ వన్దేన్
ఆ/ఆగు (3 - be,become), ఆన్, అవన్ ఆనాన్.
పో (3 - go), పోన్ , అవళ్ పోనాళ్
సొల్ (3 - say), సొన్న్, అవన్ సొన్నాన్
ఉణ్ (5 - eat), ఉణ్డ్, అవర్ ఉణ్డార్
తిన్ (5 - eat), తిన్ర్, నామ్ తిన్రోమ్
కేల్ (5 - ask), కేట్ట్, నాంగళ్ కేట్టోమ్
నిల్ (5 - stand), నిన్ర్, నీంగళ్ నిన్రీర్గళ్
విల్ (5 - sell), విర్ర, అవర్గళ్ విర్రార్గళ్

Past tense verb forms of class 3 irregular verb forms with

అదు are given below:

ఆ/ఆగు (3 - go)
, ఆనదు, ఆగియదు, ఆయిర్రు
పో (3 - go), పోనదు, పోయిర్రు
సొల్ (3 - say), సొన్నదు, సొల్లియదు, సొల్లిర్రు

నాన్ నిన్రేన్ - I stood
అవర్ వన్దార్ - He (with respect) came
నాంగళ్ పోనోమ్ - We went

We sold the ball - నామ్ పందై విర్రోమ్
They asked a question - అవర్గళ్ ఒరు కేల్వియై కేట్టార్గళ్
She said the answer - అవళ్ బదిలై సొన్నాళ్
You ate that food - నీ అంద ఉణవై ఉణ్డాయ్
