Rules are similar to the rules for adding ఐ (direct object). For nouns ending in టు, రు not preceded by a dotted consonant, the టు/రు becomes ట్టు/ర్రు before adding క్కు. All other nouns ending in vowels simply add క్కు.

పెట్టి - పెట్టిక్కు (box)
తీ - తీక్కు (fire)
శట్టై - శట్టైక్కు (shirt)
అమ్మా - అమ్మాక్కు (mother)
పూ - పూక్కు (flower)
మాడు - మాట్టుక్కు (cow)
ఆరు - ఆర్కు (river)
In general, the Noun + (ఉ)క్కు construction whenever the words "to" or "for" are used in English.
సీప్పు - సీప్పుక్కు (comb)
అప్పా - అప్పాక్కు (father)
కై - కైక్కు (hand)
కత్తి - కత్తిక్కు (knife)
కాదు - కాదుక్కు (ear)
ఈ - ఈక్కు (fly)
నిలా - నిలాక్కు (moon)
వేలై - వేలైక్కు (work)
కాడు - కాట్టుక్కు (forest/field)
పాట్టు - పాట్టుక్కు (song)
కయిరు - కయిర్రుక్కు (rope)
వండు - వండుక్కు (beetle)
కిణరు - కిణరుక్కు (well)
కరణ్డు - కరణ్డుక్కు (spoon)
పునై - పునైక్కు (cat)
అక్కా - అక్కాక్కు (elder sister)
