Lesson 13 - The Infinitive

The infinitive is formed as follows:

classes 1 - 5: root + అ
classes 6 - 7: root + క్క

Regular Verbs:
సెయ్ - సెయ్య
అళు - అళ
ఎరి - ఎరియ
ఉక్కార్ - ఉక్కార
నుళై - నుళైయ
వాంగు - వాంగ
తొడు - తొడ
ఉణ్ - ఉణ్ణ
కాణ్ - కాణ
పార (6) - పాక్క
తిర (7) - తిరక్క

Irregular Verbs:

పో - పోగ
వా - వర
దా - దర
కేళ్ - కేట్క
నిల్ - నిర్క
విల్ - విర్క

Infinitive follows the sames rules as the 'noun + ఐ' direct object. For example, ఎరి and నుళై form the infinitive by adding య.
సెయ్ and ఉణ్ form the infinitive by doubling the final consonant and adding అ.

అమర్ (2 - sit) - అమర
పెయ్ (1 - rain) - పెయ్య
ఉదవు (3 - help) - ఉదవ
తిన్ (5 - eat) - తిన్న
పోడు (4 - put) - పోట్ట?
